Well ok, I'm starting this blog to record my journey as a new mom. I plan to post things I learn along the way. I have worked all me life and just recently quit my job to stay at home with my baby. I do sell Mary Kay cosmetics because its something I can easily do from home and on my own time. I am NOT the perfect house wife. I haven't learned how to manage my time at home with a newborn. I'm learning every day from other moms and from my own experiences. I just want to share what I am learning on this journey to becoming a super house wife and mother. And if other people want to learn along with me then that's great.
Right now, my baby is 5 months old. Her name is Alexis and she is my world. She requires a lot of attention so I've had to adjust my life quite a bit. I am not the most organized person in the world by any means so this is something I have to constantly work on. I would like to become a healthier, more disciplined, and organized person so I can be a good role model for her as she gets older.
I am also a very strong Christian and I believe in bringing children up in the ways of The Lord. I intend to home school her so that I can make sure she is learning more than just what school can teach her. I am an ordained minister of performing arts. I teach praise dance and drama at a local church that my parents pastor. I love The Lord and I pray most of all that Lexi will grow up putting Him first in her life. I will probably post different inspirational things in here as well.
